MESSENGER, George - Suddenly but peacefully at home on Saturday, 16th December 2017, aged 85 years, loving husband of Sylvia, much loved dad of Raymond, Alan, George and Christine and father-in-law of Graeme, Linda and Jane, and dearly loved grandpa of Wayne, Vicky, John, Amie, Sarah and Jane. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Thursday, 28th December at 12noon. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
