JEFFERY, William Rothery - After a short illness, peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Monday, 9th October 2017, William, beloved son of the late John George and Bertha, brother of the late Mary Beatrice, Robert Mitchell and Gordon, dear uncle to Elaine and Carol, great uncle to Glen and a very special friend to many. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Tuesday, 24th October at 12noon. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to the British Heart Foundation or Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
