MESSENGER, William (Billy) - Passed away in the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Thursday, 14th September 2017, aged 73 years, loving brother of Margaret, Hannah and the late Mary and a much loved uncle of Susan and Mark. Funeral service to take place in St Leonard's Church, Cleator on Wednesday, 27th September at 1.45pm, followed by committal at Distington Hall Crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to the British Heart Foundation c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
