HOGGARTH, Gilbert James - On August 20th peacefully in Millom Hospital, after a long illness, Gilbert aged 88 years of Biggert Mire, Ulpha, beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father of Jaqueline, Christine and David, a treasured and loving grandad, great grandad and father-in-law. The funeral service will be held on Friday, 1st September at St Mary Magdalene Church, Broughton at 11.30am, followed by burial within the churchyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if preferred, towards Millom Hospital Amenities Fund may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom, LA18 4BZ. Tel. 01229 772295.
