SHERWEN, John Herbert - Suddenly at home on Monday, 10th July 2017, aged 89 years, dearly loved husband of Ruth, dear father of Andrew and the late Mark and father-in-law of Elizabeth, cherished granda of Christopher and Matthew and dear brother-in-law of Dorothy and uncle to Ian and Amanda. Funeral service to take place in Thornhill Mission Church on Wednesday, 19th July at 11.00am, followed by cremation at Distington Hall Crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to the British Heart Foundation c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
