SHEPHERD, George William - Lilian and all her family would like to express their thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the numerous cards and donations received for Ward 2, West Cumberland Hospital and to everyone who attended his funeral. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Lowther Medical Centre especially Doctor Fidalgo for the care and attention shown to George. Thanks to Dr Mukthar, the nurses (his "Little Angels") on Ward 2 and to staff on Loweswater Suite for their care and compassion. Our thanks to Reverend Simon Walker for his very fitting tribute. Thanks to Jean Flowers for the beautiful floral arrangement, The Grove Court for their hospitality and finally to Michael Branney of Eaves Funeral Directors for his compassion, guidance and professionalism.
George will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
