CARRUTHERS, Rita - The family of the late Rita Carruthers wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives and friends for their cards and kind messages of sympathy during this sad time. Our special thanks to the staff/carers of Dentholme who were so kind and helpful throughout her 7 weeks in respite care. Thank you also to the doctors and nurses in the Emergency Assessment Unit of West Cumberland hospital whose care and kindness to our mother eased her passing and helped the living let her go. Sincere thanks to the Methodist minister, the Revd Dr Wendy Kilworth - Mason for leading us through a touching funeral service and burial, which was
enhanced with the music by organist Mr Alan Redhead. Thank you to Ross and all staff of Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors for their professional help and guidance in the days preceding the funeral and at St John's Church Cemetery for the burial service.
