NEWCOMBE, Arthur Ronald - Irmgard, Karol, Julie and Susie would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind wishes, messages of sympathy and support following the death of our beloved husband and father, Ron. Our thanks also go to the staff at the Seascale Health Centre for the great service and care provided over the years and in recent months, to the Stint Team at West Cumberland Hospital in particular, the wonderful volunteer driver service in Seascale, the carers at 121 and to the support of Age UK, who all contributed to making Ron's life easier in his last year at home. A very special thanks to all the staff on Ward 4A at West Cumberland Hospital, their outstanding, thoughtful care and attention to Ron, unstinting cheer and warmth, and their openness to listening and responding to our concerns as his family, were very moving and a great comfort to us all during his last weeks. Thank you also to Ross Parke of Adams, Read & Hocking for guiding us with such professionalism and care through such a sad time and to the Calder House Hotel for their lovely funeral tea. Finally, thank you to Rev'd Dr Wendy Kilworth-Mason for her support and care in bringing together a very touching and fitting service at Seascale Methodist Church and to all who attended to make it a lovely send off for Ron.
