RUMNEY, Gerald - The family of the late Gerald would like to thank the ambulance crew and the police, also Dr Tom Ickes and staff at Whitehaven Medical Centre and the District Nurses for their care over the last three years. Thank you to Mr Putnam and staff from the Oral Surgery Department at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. A special thank you to the Reverend Rob Jackson for a comforting service and to Michael Branney and Mike Jolly from Eaves Funeral Service for all their help and guidance, carried out so professionally. Thank you to all family and friends who joined us at St James' Church, Whitehaven, to celebrate Gerald's life and also for donations received for Cancer Research UK. Finally, thank you to Whitehaven Golf Club for the funeral tea.
