CUMBRIA Police have responded to reports of inappropriate parking outside a West Cumbrian primary school.
Officers have responded to reports of poor parking at Jericho School, at Hensingham, in Whitehaven.
Several drivers were issued with words of advice on safety near the school premises.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "PC2518 Diesveld, PC3544 Field, and PCSO 5167 Kane have been at Jericho School responding to concerns raised from local residents about parking at school time.
"A number of offending vehicles were identified drivers given words of advice and three tickets were issued."
Cumbria Police aim to keep children and staff safe by preventing driving-related incidents across schools in the county.
