A new bereavement service will help people in Seascale and the surrounding areas who are coping with the loss of a loved one.

Waves of Grief will host free monthly sessions in the village to provide a welcoming and creative space for people to connect with each other.

It will be a safe space where people can talk openly about their feelings.

Activities will be available to help facilitate conversations between attendees to encourage the sharing of stories and conversation with people who share a similar experience.

The location of the meetings is yet to be confirmed but the first session will take place on Thursday September 26 from 10.30am-12.30pm.

Although the sessions are free, those wishing to attend are encouraged to contact organiser Karen Whybrow's website.
