Bus service provider has announced a series of timetable changes.
Stagecoach's alterations aim to improve reliability and punctuality across Cumbria.
These changes, starting on September 2, will improve the bus network’s resilience, particularly when the road network is congested.
Managing director of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire, Tom Waterhouse, said: "We are working hard to ensure that our passengers can depend on our services to get them where they need to go.
"These changes are necessary to reduce the chance of delays and disruption, especially at peak times."
Several services including the Carlisle to Anthorn service 93/93A have been significantly revised.
All journeys now operate as service 93 via Drumburgh and Burgh by Sands.
From Monday to Friday, the 8.35pm journey on the 104 from Carlisle to Garlands no longer operates.
All journeys on the Carlisle to Penrith/Centre Parcs route will now use the A6 near Eden Park on Sundays and public holidays, to improve punctuality.
In Carlisle, the timing point stop on the 62 service from Lowry Hill to Morton Park has been moved to simplify the timetable, with no changes to the route or departure times.
The direct 600 service from Carlisle to Cockermouth will also depart the Red Dial two minutes later at 7.32am from Monday to Friday, as it will no longer travel along Skye Road.
In West Cumbria, the Workington to Whitehaven service 29 has been revised to incorporate service 1 for Lowca.
The new service will alternate between 29 and 29A, with routes and respective departure times unchanged.
Various other services including 2/2A, 3/3A, 29 and 50/51 have also had their departure times amended slightly to improve punctuality.
There is also a minor change to the 30 between Maryport and Frizington, which will leave at 7.55am due to changed school times.
Stagecoach will no longer operate contracted service S33 on behalf of Whitehaven Academy.
Connections are available from across Whitehaven onto service 30 for students who wish to travel to Whitehaven Academy using the wider Stagecoach network rather than on dedicated school buses.
The 6C bus journey from Barrow to Kendal will leave Barrow at 7.25am instead of 7.30am.
On Kendal college days, one journey of service 567 from Kendal to Kirkby Lonsdale will extend to and from Ingleton and Bentham.
To improve the travel experience for passengers, Stagecoach has updated its travel app with the latest information.
Passengers can download the app for real-time updates on bus services, including any changes and disruptions.
The timetables change from September 2d is now available on the Stagecoach website.
The changes will be reviewed and further adjusted as needed depending on conditions in the coming months.
